The casting of runes was practiced during the Viking era and looked upon as a way of connecting with the gods, ancestors and spirit world. Much credence was placed upon the elders who would help predict and interpret the will of the gods.
Each rune is painstakingly handcrafted from REAL BONE for meticulous historic detail.This set of 25 (24 engraved and 1 left blank - you don't have to include the blank one in your rune casting!) bone runes (each measuring approx. 3 cm) is contained in a (5.5 X 3.5) inch REAL SUEDE LEATHER drawstring pouch that fastens using REAL BUFF LEATHER STRINGS (3-3.5 mm thickness). Each piece is HANDMADE using only 100% genuine BONE.
